Image Resizer example: Golden Gate Bridge as seen from Battery East

Modifications:
The public photograph was color-converted to sRGB, center-cropped to 16:9 and reduced to a 1920 × 1080 PNG demo input. No artificial blur was applied.
The current After is the user-provided 4096 × 2304 WebP attachment supplied on 2026-10-26. The full WebP is preserved byte-for-byte. Its inference settings were not independently verified. No further AI processing, sharpening or blur was applied to it. AI may synthesize details; the output is not a claim of recovered historical truth.
At the user's request, the Before reference is downsampled from the existing 1920 × 1080 PNG to 960 × 540 using Lanczos3, linearRGB and premultiply, then saved as PNG without added blur, sharpening or color quantization. The complete frame is preserved. The right directly displays the complete 4096 × 2304 attachment, without cropping, resizing or re-encoding. The supplied After was not generated from the new 960 × 540 reference. Both images fit a responsive 16:9 frame without cropping. The lower-resolution reference is labeled as such and the AI example is labeled separately from the default free, local resizing mode.
Reproducibility: attachment SHA-256 hashes, dimensions and full-frame display are recorded in design/free-image-tools/implementation-qa/ai-upscale/attachment-provenance.json. Earlier Pruna model output and its settings remain archived in provenance.json and bridge-pruna-9mp.webp; they do not describe the current user-provided After. Previous Lanczos-only assets also remain preserved.
All derived photographs in this example are shared under CC BY-SA 4.0. Preserve attribution, the license link, modifications and applicable ShareAlike obligations when reusing them. This notice covers the photograph and its derivatives, not unrelated site branding.
